Sunset at Turimetta Beach, Sydney, NSW, Australia

Turimetta Beach is one of my favourite photography spots – nice, small and isolated North Shore beach, located just North of Narrabeen Head. It was really boring dull and overcast day and I went there just to practice long exposure at night. But at the sunset everything changed dramatically. Light was changed from “average cloudy” to extreme orange for a minute or two and it lit everything with orange and then sky turned to blue-purple. Havent seen that lighting effect in my life before. Yeah, I’ve captured everything. And I will show you other photos as well.

June 4, 2009 - 9:07 am Matt Lauder - Wow look at the green moss. I have heard that the rocks are really standing out at the moment as all the sand has washed away from the recent large swell.

June 4, 2009 - 4:20 pm Beau - Awesome as per usual. You've got a nice red, green and blue thing going on here... The fisherman is a nice focal point for the scene.

June 5, 2009 - 8:40 am Ilya Genkin - Thanks for feedback, guys! That's right, Matt - the rocks there are really special. There are not many places on Northern beaches with such nice moss.
