Last Sunday went to the Whale Beach to shoot Devil’s Cauldron for the first time. I must say that it is absolutely fantastic place. However it’s really difficult to shoot as it’s facing directly to sunrise. For this shot I used two Grad ND filters (0.6 and 0.9) stacked together. Exposure is about 4.5 minutes...

Last weekend I was scouting new places on Sydney Northern Beaches for shooting and found a really nice place on the north side of the Avalon Beach. This side has Southeastern aspect, it is quite rocky and has a lot of small rock pools. On a low tide with nice clouds in the sky the...

This image is kind of lucky one. My friends and I were in Dubbo in Western Plains Zoo a couple of years ago. And I was absolutely unlucky to make decent photos in Zoo. The last day was quite dull and rainy, we were driving back to Sydney and suddenly rain stopped and sun rays...

One more image from Mount Buffalo National Park in Victoria. Morning was showy at 5am, then rainy and then just foggy. I was hoping to shoot sunrise but without any luck. Instead there was excellent “waterfall photography” weather. So I’m not complaining at all.
Good photo spot on Google Maps.

Another photo of the Craig’s Hut that located in the Mansfield State Forest on Mt Stirling. If you want to know more about this place and how to get there please check my first post about Craig’s Hut.
Kind of lightpainting photo. I highlighted windows and doorway with my favorite lightning tool: Energizer Dolphin torch, cheap...

This beautiful waterfall is located near the foot of Mount Buffalo in Mount Buffalo National Park. As the name infers, the base of the falls has been quite a popular spot for bathing during the hot summer months. It’s quite easy to reach the falls as it’s located only in about 250 meters from parking...

Wave Rock is one of the many amazing rock formations found in Western Australia. It is situated near the small town of Hyden, about 350km east of Perth. Wave Rock stands 15m high, 100m long and looks like a tall wave just about to break. This unusual shape has been greatly highlighted by vertical streaks...

Shot a while ago but finally uploaded onto my web-site. Small but picturesque jetty on Lake Macquarie. Perfect for sunset photos.
