Dawn at North Avalon, Avalon Beach, Sydney, NSW, Australia

Last weekend I was scouting new places on Sydney Northern Beaches for shooting and found a really nice place on the north side of the Avalon Beach. This side has Southeastern aspect, it is quite rocky and has a lot of small rock pools. On a low tide with nice clouds in the sky the view from the low point should be quite nice. On high tide you can just blur water with very long exposure.

For this shot I used ND 0.8 and Polarizer to get 30 seconds exposure at f11 and ISO 100. Additionally I used Grad ND 0.9 to compensate highlighted background.
