Last weekend I spent camping with family and friends at Mimosa Rocks National Park. Mimosa Rocks National Park is located 20 kilometres south of Bermagui and 413 kilometres south of Sydney on the Sapphire Coast of NSW. One of NSW’s most attractive parks it stretches for 17 km along a strip of coastal beaches, caves, cliffs, rocky coves, a number of Aboriginal sites, massive offshore rock stacks, headlands, lagoons, coastal lakes and a heavily wooded hinterland, including patches of rainforest. It’s named after the Paddle Steamer (PS) Mimosa which was shipwrecked there in 1863.
Days were quite cloudy but sunset and sunrise were surprisingly nice. I made this photo in about 1 hour after sunrise with ten-stop ND filter. Exposure is 2 minutes.
