Free Photos for Private Websites and Non-commercial Blogs

Internet has changed our life. It changed rules of professional photography and business as well. I'm receiving so many requests (via this website and Flickr) from individuals to use my photos for private websites and personal blogs, so I have decided to take an extraordinary step and offer my photos for free. There will be restrictions on photos usage of course.

From now on, as a professional photographer, I am offering free high quality photos for use on private websites and non-commercial blogs in return for a valid html link to my website.

It may looks like quite un-professional to offer free photos but it is important to consider new thoughts and perspectives and ways of doing things. I am still selling my photos for commercial usage to support my family but I think that I can live without charging people for using images for non-commercial private websites and non-commercial blogs only. A good valid html link should be enough.

Conditions for the use of my free photos

Failure to follow this usage agreement will result in copyright infringement. Violations will be taken seriously. If we are to make this next step of cooperation succeed, we need to work together. I believe it is a fair deal to let you use my pictures in exchange for a link to my website, so please be fair too!

1. You must provide a valid/active html link back to my website. "Nofollow", "Noindex" and JavaScript links do not count.

The following are example codes for linking to my website. To use the codes, copy and paste the applicable code into your website or blog.

Feel free to link to any page on my website but photo galleries are preferred. For example, if you are writing about landscapes you could link to the photo gallery in my website titled "landscape"

2. Use of my free photos is strictly for non-commercial private websites and non-commercial blogs only. All other uses, including commercial and Adult sites, will be in violation of copyright.

3. Free photos are not to be altered in any manner.

4. The embedded watermark must be visible on the photo. You are not allowed to erase, lighten or tamper with the watermark in any way.

5. If you have Adsense on your website or blog please contact me.

6. The photographer disclaims any liability in connection with the use of these photos and keeps the right to withdraw this offer at any time

While it is not a requirement, I would appreciate it if you would let me know where you are using my free images. I may even have a chance to feature your website or blog.
